If you ask a young child what do you dream of becoming when you grow up? Most will say a firefighter, policeman or nurse, teacher etc… They don’t say at 23 I want to be a single mother of two, addicted to crack. At 28 I want to be a two time convicted felon, homeless just out of jail. At 45 after 20 months of being clean, now diagnosed with Hepatitis from former intravenous drug use with two kids & a wife.
For so many with broken and aborted dreams; what is the answer? To buy more security locks, lights, and zone them out of our city, or do we help them to Dream Again. By providing for their needs, support groups, and housing; hope and dreams return for a new life.
You can help us make Dreams come true by supporting the Dream Center of St. Cloud. Sponsor a Resident, a gift that gives life all year long. Just one dollar a day pays for the first month stay at the Dream Center, give just $30.00 per month or $ 365.00 per year.
For $25 per month you can help:
- Provide the cost of coffee for a week.
For $50 per month you can help:
- Provide food for the meals that are served seven days a week.
For $100 per month you can help:
- Supplement the cost of food and shelter for one resident.
For $500 per year you can:
- Cover the cost for about 1800 meals, for hungry people that come to the Dream Center each month. Just less than $42.00 per month.
