Overcomers International Fellowship 01/19/2010
A Ministry of Hospitality that changes lives.
The Mission is to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the prisoners, minister to the sick, and shelter the homeless (Matthew 25:34-40) while preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Ministry provides Christian teaching from the Holy Bible at recovery support groups, Christian Spiritual counseling, discipleship, and Church Services.
The Hospitality offers a caring, safe haven for those who are seeking shelter and refuge, and community meals. With a program of restoration and recovery. We also host recovery seminars, conferences, and educational workshops. Together these programs offer hope for restoration through the power of God’s love, through Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, and the Word of God.
Overcomers International Fellowship was founded in 1995 and operates three facilities in St. Cloud – the Dream Center, Hospitality House, and Caleb House. Also the Matthew & Timothy Board & Lodging in Willmar MN. These facilities offer a safe, supportive environment for men 18 and o.lder who desire to get their lives on a productive course. Together, they combine for a capacity of 34 people. We host 300 volunteers & Service Learning projects from area Schools, Churches and Colleges.
OIF receives funding from private donations, fund raising, grants and housing programs. we are also a MN. Licensed Board & Lodging program funded by Group Residential Housing (GRH.)
The residents are struggling with mental health, MI-CD or learning disabilities or physical disabilities that are homeless or have corrections housing issues, as well as case management requirements and medication needs.
Residents of Overcomers International Fellowship facilities attend daily support groups, receive individual counseling, and have a structured accountability program that includes following their case management and Aftercare programs. Residents must also sign in and out, perform household chores, follow a personal weekly plan of goals and accountability and participate in other activities essential to reintegration into mainstream society. As residents progress through the program, they gain more freedom as they successfully take on more responsibility in their personal social growth, aftercare, and community activities. To reach the goal of caring for themselves and others.
